‘There are other formal and technical approaches
that I’d like to explore in the future. I have a
lot of ideas. Many of them occurred to me while
being artist in residence at the Yingge Museum,
Taiwan. Until then, I only used very fine clay,
but there I experimented with grogged clay,
glazes and engobes. There are avenues to explore,
with the possibility to add colour, highlighting the
lines even more.’
